Nobody Warns You That Both Reinventions Happen at Once

Everyone talks about “reinventing your business” or “reinventing your career” after 40. Almost nobody talks about the fact that your body is quietly going through its own reinvention at exactly the same time, whether you asked for it or not. Sleep changes. Energy changes. Your relationship with your own reflection changes. And you're expected to keep building a brand, closing clients, and showing up polished through all of it, usually without a single person acknowledging what's actually happening underneath.

My Own Honest Version of This

I'll be honest with you I've spent more of this year frustrated than I have figured out. The menopause transition, the shifts in my energy, the moments of not quite recognizing my own body or feeling like myself while I'm also trying to run a growing brand. I've been in what I can only describe as a shapeshifting stage, and for a long time, most of my energy went into researching, reading, asking around, and coming up empty on anything that felt like a real answer instead of another vague promise.

So I want to be straight with you about where I actually am, not where I wish I already was. I'm just now starting down a new path a physician-supervised approach to hormone health, energy, and long-term wellness, built on real bloodwork instead of guesswork. I haven't been doing this for months with results to report. I'm at the very beginning, and I decided to trust the people behind it enough that I stepped in two ways at once: as someone starting this for my own journey, and as a Fractional Chief Visibility Officer helping them get seen, because I believe in what they're building even before I have my own results to show for it. I'm not selling you anything today. I'm just telling you where I actually am, and if you're curious what physician-supervised hormone and longevity support looks like, ask me. I'll tell you everything I know, including the parts I'm still figuring out.

Why This Belongs in a Business Blog at All

Because your energy is the engine of everything else you're building. No content system, no offer suite, no ask rhythm matters if you're too depleted to execute any of it. Taking your own physical reinvention seriously isn't a distraction from your business goals, it's the infrastructure underneath them, even when you're still in the frustrated, figuring-it-out part of the process.

Three Things I've Learned Just From the Research and Frustration Stage

• Vague promises weren't cutting it. Almost everything I tried before this came with vague promises and no real data behind it. The thing that finally got my attention was an approach built on actual bloodwork and physician oversight, not another bottle with a hopeful label.

• Willpower was never the missing piece. I spent a long time thinking I just needed to push harder or wait it out. I don't think that anymore. Some of this stage of life genuinely calls for real support, not more willpower.

• Talking about it instead of hiding it. This is the biggest one. I stopped pretending I was fine when I wasn't, and started saying the frustrated, unglamorous parts out loud to women who understood exactly what I meant without a single follow-up question.

You Don't Have to Figure This Chapter Out Alone Either

This is exactly why healthy aging, longevity, and menopause and wellness are standing topics inside The Queen's Circle because your body's reinvention deserves the same community and real conversation as your business's reinvention, frustrated research stage and all. Every month, we bring in guest experts and have honest, no-judgment conversations about exactly what you're going through, right alongside the visibility and income conversations. You don't have to have it figured out to belong in that room. You just have to be willing to talk about it out loud, which is more than most of us were ever taught to do.
