December Reset: Protecting Your Energy & Glow as the Holidays Heat Up
December hits different when you’re a woman over 40 with a life, a business, a family, and a nervous system that is already doing the most.
On paper, this month looks magical: twinkling lights, cozy nights in, festive gatherings, champagne toasts, and all the “end of year” nostalgia posts.
In reality?
It can feel like a pressure cooker in a sequin dress.
You’re juggling:
family plans
travel
finances
expectations (your own and everyone else’s)
and if you’re anything like me… you’re still holding big goals for your life and business
So before we sprint into another December on autopilot, I want to invite you into something different:
A December Reset — where you protect your energy, honor your body, and intentionally choose how you want this month to feel.
Because you don’t need another month of burnout disguised as “holiday spirit.”
You deserve to glow through this season, not crawl through it.
Step 1: Decide How You Want December to Feel
Not look.
Not perform.
Feel.
Do you want it to feel:
calm?
joyful?
spacious?
profitable?
connected?
luxurious?
Write down 3 words that capture how you want this month to feel in your body. Keep them somewhere you’ll see them every day — phone background, sticky note on your mirror, inside your planner.
For me this month?
Ease. Expansion. Celebration.
I’m headed to Tampa for a Bella Grace event the first weekend, and then to Vegas for the IAOTP Gala on 12/13 where I’ll be honored as Top Empowerment Coach of the Year (yes, I’m still screaming inside).
But none of that matters if my body and soul are running on fumes.
So I’m choosing to support my energy as fiercely as I support my goals.
Step 2: Treat Your Body Like an Asset, Not an Afterthought
You cannot pour into holidays, businesses, and families from a body that’s running on sugar, stress, three hours of sleep, and “I’ll deal with my health in January.”
Your body is not an accessory to your ambition.
It’s the engine.
For me, that looks like:
staying consistent with my Bella Grace collagen elixir
staying hydrated (yes, water counts between coffees and cocktails)
prioritizing sleep whenever possible
moving my body — even if it’s a 10-minute walk
honoring my hormones, not fighting them
When I take care of myself, I lead differently. I sell differently. I show up in photos, videos, podcasts, and events with a different energy.
And that’s what people feel.
Step 3: Set Bare-Minimum Boundaries (Yes, Even in December)
You do not have to go to every event.
You do not have to say yes to everything.
You do not have to host if you don’t want to.
Here are a few boundaries you’re allowed to set:
“I love you, but I’m not available that night.”
“This year I’m keeping things low-key.”
“We’re doing smaller, more meaningful gifts.”
“I’m leaving by 10 PM.”
You’re not a bad mom, daughter, partner, or friend for protecting your peace.
You’re a woman modeling what self-respect looks like.
Step 4: Make December Work for You (Not Just Everyone Else)
This month is also a prime time to:
reconnect with your goals
re-evaluate what’s working in your business
set yourself up for a more profitable 2026
and decide how visible you’re willing to be with your gifts
That’s why I created the Badass Queen Personal Branding & Media Agency — because I’m done watching women stay small, quiet, and overrun while everyone else “takes up space.”
You deserve a brand that reflects who you really are.
You deserve income that reflects the value you bring.
You deserve recognition to match the work you’ve put in.
Step 5: Let Yourself Be Proud
If you’ve made it to December?
You’ve already survived things other people know nothing about.
You are allowed to:
be proud of what you built
be excited about where you’re going
celebrate your wins — even if no one claps
I’m proud of the empire I’m building.
I’m proud of the women I’ve helped.
I’m proud to be flying to Tampa and Vegas not as a tourist — but as a woman in demand.
And I want that feeling for you, too.
If you’re ready to support your body this month while you juggle all the things, you can check out what I use and love here:

And if you’re ready to make 2026 the year your brand finally matches your brilliance… stay close.
The Badass Queen Personal Branding experience is coming — and it’s designed for women exactly like you.
Here’s to a December that feels like yours, not everyone else’s.
